Both boxes are conventional timber framed - we've used up recycled timber where possible...

  • Approx 2.4 x 2.4 x 2.4 in size

  • Strand flooring sheets

  • Floor joist 190x45 (400 centres)

  • Wall framing 90x45 (studs at 400 centres)

  • Dwangs at 400mm centres

  • Roof rafters 140x45

  • Standard purlins 

  • Conventional roofing underlay

  • Metal roofing

  • Fibre glass insulation 

  • Conventional building wraps + tapes

  • Conventional aluminium joinery

  • Double glazing

  • Clad in locally grown pine weatherboards

  • Lined with Aqualine plasterboard

  • Braced using plasterboard

  • Drain in floor with S bend to prevent flooding

  • All materials sourced have focused on being NZ made.

  • Floor joists at 450 centres 190x45

  • Wall framing 90x45 (reduced studs at 600 centres) 

  • No dwangs (eliminate thermal bridging)

  • External plywood for bracing

  • Roof rafters 140x45

  • External plywood for sarking

  • Vented purlin system with Proclima 

  • Metal roofing with vented ridge.

  • Fibre glass insulation

  • Proclima building wraps + tapes

  • Superior Weathershield thermally broken aluminium joinery

  • Premium Double glazing (4mm SunX Grey Tough (Low E surface #2) / 4mm CLR FLT Tough)

  • Clad in Genia using locally grown pine weatherboards

  • Airtight Proclima Intello membrane over framing.

  • 45mm service cavity w. additional 45mm fibre glass insulation

  • Lined with Aqualine plasterboard

  • Drain in floor with S bend to prevent flooding

  • All materials sourced have focused on being NZ made.
